Blake decides to leave the war room at Denver Carrington to harass Alexis as to her involvement with Rashid Ahmed with respect to Blake being double crossed. Alexis asserts that she had nothing to do with Rashid claiming that the $100 million was for arms and not oil leases. Blake has no proof, so he sort of accepts Alexis's story. Too bad for Alexis, Mark happens to be hearing the conversation. | ||||
| Scene 2 : Tracy's apartment | ||||

Tracy does not like the fact that Dex still has a thing for Alexis. Dex tries to prove that he is over Alexis, sexually. All he wants is Tracy to be on the inside so Dex can know of every move that Alexis makes. | ||||
| Scene 3 : Carrington Mansion (Library) | ||||
|
Fallon tells Kirby privately about her plans to marry Jeff. It has to be rough for Kirby but she should have seen this coming. | ||||
| Scene 4 : Carrington Mansion (Kirby's room) | ||||
|
Kirby moves full steam ahead with her plan to kill Alexis. She is not even trying to be a member of the Carrington clan anymore, though she does show some affection to Adam. | ||||
| Scene 5 : Carrington Mansion (Kitchen) | ||||
|
Blake tells Krystle that he is sure to get away from this mess. | ||||
| Scene 6 : Penthouse | ||||
|
Mark knows that Alexis paid Rashid $5 million to sabotage Blake's deal. Alexis wants to know how much it will cost her to buy Mark's silence. | ||||
| Scene 7 : Carrington Mansion (Library) | ||||
|
While Adam is preparing to leave to Hong Kong with Blake, Steven comes to see him. But Adam has no time for his brother. However, he advises Steven to look again into his files : he might have done it wrong the last time. | ||||
| Scene 8 : Denver Carrington (Blake's office) | ||||
|
Dex comes to see Blake but finds Jeff instead. Dex is willing to help Blake if he can have a part of the China Sea oil leases. But Jeff, who owns half of Denver Carrington, says Blake and he are not interested to work with Mr Dexter. | ||||
| Scene 9 : Carrington Jet | ||||
|
Blake takes Adam out to Hong Kong to try and track down Rashid Ahmed and to get him to retract his lies. | ||||
| Scene 10 : ColbyCo (Secretary's office)/Carrington Mansion (Dining Room) | ||||
|
Steven phones to Claudia because she she needs to do a deposit against Morgan Hess. When she hungs up the phone, Claudia has the idea that she and Kirby should throw Fallon's engagement party. Kirby wants no part of that. | ||||
| Scene 11 : Denver Carrington (Krystle's office) | ||||
|
Gordon Wales from World Finance is interviewing Krystle about the China Sea oil leases. But the interview goes wrong and Krystle asks Wales to leave. | ||||
| Scene 12 : Denver Bar | ||||
|
$100,000 is what Mark asks for his silence. Mark is excited by what he receives from Alexis. While celebrating, Congressman Neal McVane stops by and reminds Mark that they had a deal to blackmail Alexis together and split the proceeds. Mark pretends that he still has not received any info on Alexis. Neal suspects Mark is lying. | ||||
| Scene 13 : Denver Bank | ||||
|
Mark happily deposits the $100,000 in a checking account, which he is going to use to leave Denver and return to New York. Unfortunately for Mark, Neal has trailed him. Neal notices that Mark has deposited a large sum of money at the bank. | ||||
| Scene 14 : ColbyCo (Alexis' office) | ||||
|
Steven thinks he should make some apologies to Adam. He finds his research on the South China Sea leases. They had been misfiled. (Adam actually pulled that off.) This is the second time in a few time where he accused someone of his family for nothing. Alexis wants by-gones to be by-gones. Also, she informs Steven she wants him to run the day to day operations of the Lex-Dex Corporation. Then, Alexis receives a phone call from Kirby. | ||||
| Scene 15 : The Peninsula Hotel (Blake's suite) | ||||

Unfortunately for Blake, Rashid had left just before their arrival. Blake has a back-up plan. He will get the government with which he dealt to issue a statement saying that the money was not used for the purchase of arms. | ||||
| Scene 16 : Joseph Bungalow (exteriors) | ||||
|
Under the pretext of discussing Alexis's job offer, Kirby drags Alexis out to her home where Joseph killed himself. | ||||
| Scene 17 : Joseph Bungalow (interiors) | ||||
|
Kirby really does not discuss details of the job offer and Alexis is ready to leave. Just as Alexis opens the door, Kirby reaches for the gun but stops herself because some old man claiming to be part of the neighborhood watch is at the door. Kirby's plot has been foiled, for now, as Alexis gets the neighborhood watchman to call her a cab to leave this horrible middle class neighborhood. | ||||
| Scene 18 : ColbyCo (Secretary's office) | ||||
|
Alexis' secretary informs that Tracy Kendall is waiting for her. | ||||
| Scene 19 : ColbyCo (Alexis' office) | ||||
|
Tracy finally meets with Alexis and tells her that she has always admired her and she has plenty of confidential informations on Denver Carrington. Alexis rightly assumes that Tracy is doing all of this for revenge, and what would stop Tracy from doing the same thing against her. | ||||
| Scene 20 : ColbyCo (Lobby) | ||||
|
Tracy informs Dex that she has been hired by Alexis despite her doubts about it. | ||||
| Scene 21 : The Peninsula Hotel (Blake's suite) | ||||
|
Blake manages to get a meeting with the country's trade representative. The trade representative, Mr. Lin, advises Blake that silence is in the best interest of his country so they will not issue any statement. Blake demands his $100 million. But, that money has already been allocated. Besides, the country only promised Blake the leases, not protection. Blake returns home empty handed. Even though Blake still has the leases, he can't begin exploration. Blake put a provision in the deals to raise the $100 million that called for exploration to begin on a specific date or else the loans could be called in. And, that date is fast approaching. | ||||
| Scene 22 : The Peninsula Hotel (Blake's suite)/Denver Carrington (Krystle's office) | ||||
|
Krystle feels useless in Blake's situation. Meanwhile, Mark bids Krystle goodbye. | ||||
| Scene 23 : Carrington Mansion (Kitchen) | ||||
|
Aware of Blake's pending financial problems, Fallon is willing to scale back her wedding. Jeff does not care as long as they get married. | ||||
| Scene 24 : La Mirage (El Matador Bar) | ||||
|
Alexis is willing to pay for Fallon's engagement party and wedding. | ||||
| Scene 25 : New York (Ed Linden's apartment) | ||||
|
Sammy Jo's modeling career is not going well in New York City as another married man with whom she is having an affair is unable to land a big account for her. When Sammy Jo threatens to tell his wife of the affair, the man slaps her and pushes her over a chair. | ||||
| Scene 26 : Carrington Mansion (Steven and Claudia's room)/New York (Ed Linden's apartment) | ||||
|
Steven thought he could return to his normal existence with Claudia. Unfortunately for him, there are some new complications. Late on night, Sammy Jo gives Steven a call and asks about Danny. It appears her Could Sammy Jo be having second thoughts of the decisions she has made? | ||||

|
Blake will not let Alexis pay for Fallon's wedding. He will make this work. However, he informs Krystle that if he does not raise $100 million soon (since exploration seems unlikely) he could lose Denver Carrington. |
