Dynasty The Retelling

This fan fiction is a new envisioning (reboot) of the TV series which corrects the continuity errors, improves or alterates several stories and reinstates some of the scenes or storylines which were deleted from the scripts, story outlines or seasonal bibles.

EpisodesEdit

Season 1Edit

Not a lot of changes for this season : basically, there are less scenes with Lindsay and more with Jeff and Cecil. We can already see that Cecil may not be the friend he seems to be.

Season 2Edit

Most of the changes concern Steven and Nick. Also, the script that was meant to be shot between the episodes "Reconciliation" and "Viva Les Vegas" is reinstated.

Season 3Edit

The changes concern mainly Fallon but also Krystle and Kirby at times. Also, there will be two double episodes (one was actually originally planned) in order to utilize a part of the seasonal bible that was discarded (Fallon going petitioning the court to name her as Jeff’s conservator) and to use Krystle's scheme against Alexis from season 8 that seems more relevant here.

Season 4Edit

The differences concern mainly Fallon. There are also a few changes concerning Steven, Claudia, Kirby, Tracy and Dex. Besides, McVane has a prominent role in the storyline involving Claudia's persecution (rather than Sammy Jo). Finally, it is revealed that it was Mark who tried to kill Alexis at the hospital.

Season 5Edit

A lot of differences from this season on : Claudia has an affair with Brady Lloyd rather than with Dean Caldwell, Adam falls in love with Marin Dexter (Dex's sister) like in the writers' original plans and he is not involved romantically with Claudia, it is Alexis and not Sammy Jo who sends incriminating pictures to Blake and Krystle...
Some characters are also featured more prominently : Dominique is present in 25 episodes (out of 30) rather than 22 (out of 29) as in the TV version, Daniel appears in 12 episodes rather than 9 and Brady shows up in 14 episodes (out of 30) instead of 5 (out of 29).

Season 6Edit

Several differences for this season : Marin Dexter replaces Claudia who dies in Moldavia, Michael appears only in the season's premiere (he dies too), Caress, Jackie and Clay come earlier, The Colbys only get a few scenes, the plots with Krystle's doppelganger and the machination of Galen are developed without too much fillers...
